There is an ever growing constituency in Austin, of individuals who have for any number of reasons,
become dedicated fans of ACTV (Austin Community Access TV).  They are a diverse group, and
span the gamut of professionals, blue collar workers, teenagers, politicians and the simply curious.
Their allegiance has been cultivated by a common distress and dissatisfaction in the major networks
inability or unwillingness to report the news, in an unbiased and truthful format.  As citizens and
valued purveyors of what is commonly referred to as the 'American Dream', we have an obligation
to our posterity and the citizenry who demand that we carry the burden of truth forward.  We must
recognize and accept the limitations imposed upon us by the power brokers of the new millenium,
and deal with them as harshly and mercilessly as they have done unto us.  "The Trailer Park Show"
and a few other ACTV programs are a select and dedicated group of individuals who are in
pursuit of what we think the American public wants to know.  At the "Trailer Park Show",  we think
the Austin community and the American public at large demands that we report a complete and
informative narrative of cutting edge local and national news that is concise and as free of embellishment as humanly possible.  This has been an editorial from The Yearty's, residents of the "Trailer Park

Bush on crime: Is he criminally insane?
The governor of the great state of Texas George W. Bush is the subject of many controversial issues these days.   It seems he is proud of his tough stance on crime especially when it comes to our kids who the governor has imposed a zero tolerance rule of thumb for almost any infraction committed by our youth.  At first glance you would think his programs are right on but this is the same man who is willing to allow thousands of illegal immigrants free access to our state and then offers even the criminal element among them amnesty.  Where was Bush when the notorious railroad murderer was terrorizing the country, where was he when Kathy Woods lost her young son to illegal immigrant gang members, when Richard and Vicki Younie lost their young son to illegal immigrant thugs, and the list goes on and on a virtual tabloid of incidents most of them fatal for the American citizen unfortunate enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Almost all of these confrontations certainly could have been avoided if our leaders had taken a much stronger posture on the issue of NAFTA, Proposition 187, and the amnesty granted to more than a million and a half illegal immigrants most of whom are criminals.  Illegal immigrants comprise some 26% of our prison population the burden to the American tax payer and the criminal justice system is in excess of $1.3 billion dollars each year and this figure is climbing.  Is there a viable solution to this problem or will our country be brought to the brink of financial, cultural and social collapse?   Will President Clinton and the presidential nominees Bush and Gore be able to render an effective and immediate answer to this national problem?    Maybe they should all take a lesson in history from one of Americas truly great political figures of the 1950’s, General Dwight Eisenhower who in 1954 during his presidency implemented what was then called “ Operation Wet Back”, over a million immigrants were rounded up and taken back to their country of origin namely Mexico.  It is well within the Clinton administrations power to do the same, the authority for this is written in our constitution under Article 4 Section 4.  Why then has this travesty been allowed to continue ,political gain, corporate greed who is willing to step up and stem the tide of immigrants invading our country daily, taking jobs from our citizenry ,raping our wives and daughters, murdering our sons and fathers, living off the public dole and burdening our economy with a birth rate the likes of which is unparalleled in the annals of recorded history.  We must begin now before it is to late to reclaim our great country and restore meaning to our heritage it will take courage and commitment but I'm sure “The land of the free (illegal immigrant free) and the home of the brave (brave men and women uniting against a common enemy) will win the victory.  God bless America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This editorial is about two murders committed in 1998 and 1999.  It's a little overdue but, hopefully,
might cause a few people to think about the "controlled" media and wonder about who decides
what is and isn't reported.....

So much is heard about how our mainstream media is biased in it's reporting so we've decided
to post an example of how the media reported on two murders - one in Wyoming on Oct. 12, 1998
and the other,  less than a year later,  in Arkansas on Sept. 26, 1999.  The first murder made the
name Matthew Shepard a household name.  The Arkansas teenager named Jesse Dirkhising isn't
as familiar to most people.

Both murder victims died from being beaten and tortured.  Jesse Dirkhising was also tied-up, then
raped and sodomized.   The two victims were also killed by more than one person.

Matthew Shepard was a gay man killed by straight men.  His murder added fuel to the fire of the
already talked about "hate crime" legislation being passed into law around the country.  His story
made headlines and appeared on nightly news for weeks.

Jesse Dirkhising's death was hardly reported at all.  He endured alot more pain and suffering than
Matthew Shepard.  His murder was perpetrated by two gay men.  He was only 13-years-old.  His
death spurred no legislative efforts to make sure that child murderers are punished as severely as
the ones who commit a "hate crime".

Since most people are familiar with one case and not the other,  only information and opinions about
Jesse's death have been posted.  The pages posted are:
